Searching

Losing my bearings

I wander,

Lost, yet busy

Alone, yet surrounded

My flame flickers

Running low on oil

Running low on life

Every movement is heavy

Exhaustion weighs me down

Where is Your life giving power?

Won’t You fill me up?

Won’t You bring me back to life?

I search for You

But distracted at every turn

I lose hope of ever finding You again

Then from inside I hear,

“I’m right here,

I always have been.

I always will be.

I am closer to you

Than your life vein.

My light is inside you.

Have hope.

Turn within and you will find Me.”
